How's it going boys, long time no see.
Just about to rebuild my brewery and I need a new pump.
Being trying to catch up on newly available equipment since my last build (solar pump)

What I require from the pump is a do it all, 3 V brewery with a grant under the mash tun, pump will be able to recirc, mash, sparge, transfer and whirlpool. I worked this (just about) with a solar pump but would like more power and reliability.
I'd like to plug and play without messing about with voltages and sthuff.

What would you recommend, why and where did you get it. Would buy second hand if there's one knocking around, although price while being important is not the only consideration

Bloody hell, hello stranger welcome back
There have been 2 chugger group buys and those things are bulletproof, although Nigel managed to burn one out? after that the ones on Angel Homebrew and homebrew builder in the uk are solid but lower voltages.
It's one of those things you get what you pay for.

Welcome back spud.
Are you resurrecting your kit for personal research?...

DEMPSEY

T'is it a Wexican I hear. Chugger all the way  :)

I'm guessing you're not allowing sours in Rising Sons so this is being kept far far away!

To long since you've been in so John.
We had 3 sours in city hall for the festival and have stepped up to the big kit even before that.
Just miss doing a bit at home and now  that we're more settled I'll get going again.

Any of those full voltage Chuggers knocking around in the back of a brewshed, anyone?

Thats right, I tried a few in City hall.
My trips to the big smoke are infrequent, I must visit again.
