Does anybody else use it on Stainless steel?

Yeah I use it on my SS kettle.

I use it with warm to hot water and clean it away with hotter water.

I use the Lidl W5 Oxy on everything, pots, kegs, fermenters, Bulldog. No problems. Usually 30-60 minutes does the trick. Water around 50ÂșC to get it active. Then a good rinse to clean it off. I find it can leave a white residue because it doesn't have chelating agents like PBW has. I usually add a teaspoon of PBW to the mix to solve this. It would be handy to buy the chelating agent and lower the cost a bit.

Would using heated rain water when cleaning eliminate the white residue due to the rain water being "soft water".
