Hi all I was looking for advice on good digital thermometer for water and/or grain temp.
Not sure which make and what type to go for - ie lead with sensor or metallic probe.
Do they need callibration, and if so how often ?
Any advice would be most welcomed

I use this in the brewery, and it's A1. Bought it about two years ago, tested it in a boiling kettle yesterday, still bang on, original battery etc. Fairly quick to come up to temp (quicker than the temp probe on the £100 pH pen I bought).

They are  good, there is a new version out now as well a lot more expensive with only minor improvements
Also great for sticking in BBQ and turkey
