Corny Keg in Fridge

Hi, quick question. I have couple cornys, one is full of beer for last couple days but I haven't put it in fridge yet, I've co2 on it so it's carbonating away. My question is can I disconnect the co2, place the corny in the fridge. Then when I want a "sample beer" can I reconnect the co2 and pour a drink. Fridge won't fit corny and the co2 cylinder. I'm in the process of making changes to the fridge to allow for the co2 line to enter but it's not done yet. Thanks.

Don't see why not but I've read that the beer absorbs CO2 much better when it's cold.

Once the keg is air tight, which I presume it is as otherwise your CO2 tank would be already empty, then it will hold the pressure that has built up from the CO2.

As VJ says, beer will absorb the CO2 better at lower temps so the pressure in the keg may change after being in the fridge for a period of time.

But yes, this should be no problem.

Good stuff, I suppose I can only try. I'll disconnect the co2 from the keg this evening, put the keg in the fridge and see what happens on Friday when I pour a scoup.
