I had a pint of scraggy bay over the weekend, I'd forgotten just how good it is, made me wonder why it'd been so long... Got me thinking I'd like to clone it. Thing is I'm far too green to know where to start. Has anybody else made a stab at it?

I remember chatting to one if the brewers at a festival who mentioned that centennial played a big role. Scraggy, when really fresh, has a very resinous aroma but a big grapefruit flavour. So maybe match centennial with something more piney/resiney?

Thanks for the advice, I imagine the grain profile is pretty basic due its light colour. Doesn't taste heavily dry hopped to me either but I ain't got the most refined palate so I could be wrong

AFAIK it's dry hopped but I don't know to what quantities

When we did the brew weekend there the beer we made had Columbus, Simcoe, Equinox, Mandarina Bavaria and Hallertau Blanc. I haven't had Scraggy Bay in a long time but I don't think the Simcoe would fit, the others probably would. I believe Centennial wasn't used for a while but might be used on current batches
