Hi guys,
Just wondering can anyone advise on some good pubs that have draught of Donegal microbrews?
I'm up there every couple of months for work and have found the Warehouse and the Brewery Bar which stock Kinnegar, but just wondering am I missing out on some place that serves a bit more than Limeburner. Heading into the winter would be nice to get Yannaroddy or try some of the beers from that new pace in Convoy etc.
Thanks!

Old Mill Brewery is the Convoy brewery, set up by NHC member Julio. They only sell bottles at the minute and I'd not be sure of stockists but I see the Silver Tassie started stocking them today.

I've found Donegal bars have been horrendous for stocking local stuff. I grew up outside Buncrana and make a point of asking for Donegal beer anytime I'm in a bar there but you still get a look from a bartender as if you have 2 heads.

Kinnegar have a list of stockists on there website if that's any use. https://kinnegarbrewing.ie/stockists/

I recommend a trip to Derry.

Tom! How could you!!!

The Cottage stocks a larger range of Kinnegar than most pubs in Letterkenny. The Glencar Inn has an even bigger range and stocks the Convoy beers too, and has a really good range in its off licence. The Counter has the best range of local beers for sale via off licence.

Thanks for the recommendations lads! I'll try swing by the Cottage. The Tassie and Glencar seem to be a bit far out from where I usually stay, but might get out there the next time I'm up.
Won't have time to spin up to Derry, but it's on the list!

Enjoy your trip.

The Cottage is pretty special, if you're in for a pint. And I second The Counter Deli. Must go there with a bulging wallet soon.
