STC1000 wiring help:

I ordered an STC1000 but got sent a Willhi WH7016C instead. Same thing except the ports are numbered differently & there is no instructions with it & the pdf is throwning up a 404 not found on their website.

Can someone help me with the wiring? What goes where. Id be very grateful. (ive a 100w bulb for heat & the fridge for cool)



I know port 7 & 8 are for the temp probe. Where do I wire the rest to?

On tap: Flanders, Gose,
Fermenting: Oatmeal Brown, 200ish Fathoms,
Ageing: bretted 1890 export stout.
To brew:  2015 RIS, Kellerbier, Altbier.

Willhi will only heat or cool  :( not both  :(
I use it to heat only my HLT but mine s 30A
STC would have been better  :(

still useful to have, it will trip off when it gets to temp.
consider something like this so that you beer doesnt go blind in the light ;)

If you ordered an STC 1000 and did not get it,open a case if its from Ebay

Hi ciderhead, l was looking at those tube heaters before on Amazon but wasn't sure if they would get hot enough? How do you find them? I just use a 40w bulb at the moment, I put an old extract can over it to shield the light.

They are designed as heaters and I make sure there is plenty of space around it to circulate air your electric light bulb is not  :(
btw, there are aliens in you fridge ;)
