Hi to everyone here. I've recently decided to get into homebrewing and chancing my arm at distilling so will hopefully get lots of help and good advice on this site.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I'm based right in the middle of Ireland. Just outside tullamore to be exact. I was reading up on the laws regarding distilling in Ireland and it seems as though It Is illegal to distill alcohol in Ireland without a license. Looks like I'm going to have to apply for one of those if I want to give it a try. I can see a big increase in homebrewing coming down the line if the low beer prices in supermarkets are to be hit by our government in the near future.
