Thanks again lads

I took your advice and went for the Coopers IPA and a can of LME.... plus a pack of glucose tabs to try carbonation again this way.
I also picked up 200 caps and a new capper..

So i steralized my fermenter and tap etc after my last batch which was about a month ago
I also steralized my collection of brown pint bottles about the same time and stored them away with a dry towel over them..

Should i steralise everything again before use..  ie..Steralise my fermenter tomorrow,rinse it and then start my new batch in it straight away??
Leave my bottles until im ready to bottle and then re steralise, rinse and use???
Should i steralise my new bottle caps before use??...capper??

I presume the method useing the LME is the same as using the brewers suger??
Do you warm the LME can with the IPA mix (inverted in warm water) and then mix them together in the fermenter with the 2l fresh hot water??
Top up to 20l?
Adjust temp with another 3l of hot/cold water?
Sprinkle yeast and stir in?
Fit lid and store at 21*c plus??.. until fermented..
What stage is best to take hydrometer readings?
Any tips??
Silly question but would camera flash effect the yeast/brew in any way?

Any way im hoping to go ahead with my second batch saturday or sunday evening so any tips between now and then would be welcome!!

I am also going to try and make it to a Galway club meet at the end of the month ( fri 29th? )..

Should i sterilise everything again before use? - not the capper, but everything else yes.

Your method seems sound but
Fit lid and store at 21*c plus?? - aim for 18-20C
What stage is best to take hydrometer readings? - just before adding your yeast, and again after about a week on ce all fermentation seems to be done.

Im goin ta start my next batch in the next hour..Would it be a good idea to add 250grams of table suger to bring up the ABV in this mix or will it make it too sweet ??

It wont make it sweeter, You'll barely notice it once it's fermented out.
kit+can=~4.7%
kit+can+250g sugar=~5.2%

Another idea for more strength AND more flavour is to brew it to 20L (kit+can)

They are normally on the last Friday of the month in the Oslo so I'd guess the 29th but keep an eye on the Galway club page to be sure
