Very kind folks over the years on drops that I did kindly volunteered me a sample of their finest. I've collected so much on top of my freezer I stopped not out of ungratefulness I just had too much.
Very few of these were labelled and in recent months I have been lucky dipping, bit of a shock tonight tho! And a big pool of Amber on my garage floor

The bottle neck exploded hit the roof of my shed and lodged itself in hanger I use for my shovels and brushes.

If you or anyone you know has similar bottles FFS handle with care. Maybe it was deliberate!:)

RichC

Gotcha!!
I thought I told you to keep that under your pillow?

LordEoin

were you opening it at the time? or just a bottle bomb?

Complete bottle bomb just came across it, I don't bottle condition but makes me wonder what pressure blew the bottle and what a great job was done on the cap that it stayed on.:)

LordEoin

Well.. a bottle bomb is just a messy inconvenience if it's not near you or your loved ones at the time.
I've had a few that bottle bombed but only because i was an idiot and left them in the freezer too long.
One thing i've noticed is that reusing commercial beer bottles i dangerous when you can but the decent bottles off HBW is safer.
I've had a few HBW bottles blow their cap where recycled bottles would have been a dirtybomb.

Eoin

I've never had a bottle bomb......

How can you day that bought bottles are safe than harvested?
I think Grolsch are some of the toughest and this is the only one that ever bombed on me. I gave it to a friend who kept it beside his tumble dryer.  ::)
