Mods advice needed:

A friend of mine in London is selling up a his small brewery. I have details to hand, but is it OK to post it here? The sticky seems to be quite strict on selling for reasons I can guess at.

I'd say it's alright, there's been links to the Brown Paper Bag Project advert and they've been fine.

Here is a description of the brewery:

Since my rental agreement on the brewery premises (all 20 square metres of it) has come to a close with 2013, and I have taken the tough decision to give up the premises and sell my brewkit.

The kit has a 200L brew length, and is a complete brewery, ideal for a brewpub or a commercial pilot brewery. I specified it to brew two times a week, but there's no reason you can't do more than that -- just add fermenters. It was originally put together by Wayne Abbots (http://brewzone-systems.co.uk/).

Here are the included items:

240L Stainless Steel Hot Liquor Tank, fitted with 2 3 KW single-phase electric elements, thermometer, tap, etc
240L Stainless Steel Mash Tun with screen, thermometer, tap, etc
33L Stainless Steel Underback
240L Stainless Steel Copper with screen, fitted with 2 3 KW single-phase electric elements, thermometer, tap, etc
2 Pumps
12 220L Lock-bar Sealing Plastic Fermenters, Bungs, Airlocks, Taps
Counterflow Plate Chiller
Keg Keg Filling Head
20 19L Cornie Kegs
CO2 Regulator, 1 to 2 Gas Manifold, 2 8 to 1 Gas Manifolds (16 kegs can be force carbinated at the same time)
All the necessary hoses, tools, bits, and bobs
Safety Equipment (apron, safety glasses, gloves, wellies)
Testing equipment (narrow range hydrometers, test jar, PH strips, etc)
Enough Malt and Hops for several brews
Caustic Acid for cleaning
Paracetic Acid for sterilizing
Water treatment tablets
Protofloc tablets

I can even provide the electrical board and interconnect, safety equipment, a stainless steel sink, etc. I would prefer to land it all in one package with a new owner. If you were to go out to do a similar installation from scratch, you would be well above £10,000 in equipment and materials. I am looking for fair offers, and can deliver everything except a few kegs more or less immediately.

This is a complete brewery, originally designed to brew 2 times a week with a fermentation/conditioning period of 1 month. I have produced some very nice beer on it, with average brewery efficiencies well above 85%. I would really like to see it go to a good home, and as part of the sale I would be happy to install it (minus the plumbing and electrical work), do a couple of brews with the new owners, share some recipes, and generally offer whatever operational knowledge I have (introduce suppliers, methods, resources, etc).

There are 10 brews or so on the equipment. So it's as close to new as you can get.

So, if anyone knows someone who is looking to start a brewpub, or is looking for a pilot kit, this would be an ideal chance. Please feel free to drop me an <email> or call on <number>.

Contact details witheld, to observe forum rules on off-site dealing.

FYI this brewery setup is currently based in hammersmith/London.

I'm interested. What do I do next, Mods?

If you google some of it you'll find the original ad easy enough.
