I have made 2 batches before and they tasted great and going to make it again this week but wanted to share the recipe and some pictures :).

for 25 liter

20 liter of cheap aldi/asda concentrate apple juice
5 liter pomgranate juice
1 cup strong black tea
1 tsp cider/wine yeast

Make a yeast starter by putting some handwarm water I a cup or glass with the yeast and put some cleanfilm to cover. Leave that for about 30 minutes. this is not mandatory but it helps the start of the fermentation a bit.

Take 2 teabags and put them in a cup of boiling water and leave it for 10 minutes.

now for the hard work fill your fermenting vessel. I always use a fermenting bucket its easy to fill and give everyting a good stir. I usually dont add extra sugar because there is more then enough sugar in the AJ.. O.G. 1.049.

pour in your strong tea and check the temp and then pour in your yeast.

close the fermenting vessel with an airlock and leave to ferment for 7/8 days.

After this transfer your brew to a secondary fermenting vessel and leave that in a warm place for about 7 days and then move to a cold place for about 4 months.

after about 4 months I add 3 liters of AJ to prime and get some extra apple flavor to my cider. The sugar in the last AJ should be enough to get some bubbles. And i back sweeten my tc with some splenda, but that is all to your own taste.

try and leave the bottles for about a week to prime and enjoy :)

This was some left over that would not fit in my secondary vessel

and this was the result of 4 months of waiting.

did not get the FG that time.. But making 2 new batches as we speak.. Have 25 liter of pomgranate/apple cider and 10 liter of pomgranate/raspberry and apple going.

will take a F.G. this weekend when i am going to rack it and try and forget about it for 3 long months :).

give a small batch a try with 4l AJ  and pomgranate juice.

future experiments will be adding different juices like:

cherry
raspberry

and other combinations that you normally would not think of.

Oh it has a long maturing time but its worth the wait.. That is why i started now with 35 liter so its finished before the summer :).

and realy let it mature the taste and the color will be a lot better. I had to do a taste test :)..

I cannot realy say but it does make a big difference in taste and colour.. Its a recipe I made from an other forum and it was my second brew so I just followed the recipe..

The O.G. was 1.045 and after 8 days fermenting it was down to 1.010 and racked it to mature..
Oh this was the pomgrantate only.

the pomgrantate/raspberry still has a thick foam on top.. so will give it a good stir tonight and leave it for an other 24 hours to see if this will mix in and will transfer to secondary tomorrow.
