oh yes its quite expensive for the juice you get. I did not check the percentage of fruit that is in the juice.. I found this out when making wines out of juice.. I can just put a label heineken wine on there it tastes like water..

I have seen some people starting with canned pears but I dont think i ever saw any results and i love to experiment but I never tasted canned pears that i realy would use for a brew.. Its more of an easy desert to have in the cupboard.

But summerime is almost there with all the nice fresh fruit that you can use in different brews.. Get it at its best in summertime and freeze it and use it later :)

If you can make soup then you will also be able to make a decent beer!

Oh planning on a short "cheap" holiday this year so probably will get a plane and spend a week in england/scotland/ireland so if I can finaly make up my mind will let you know.. I will have some room left to exchange some cider :)..

have 4 different ciders (from juice) that I will leave and age for an other two months and then bottle..

25l apple
25l apple, pomgranate
10l apple, pomgranate, raspberry

I am doing a pinapple cider now and if that works out will make a 25 liter batch and experiment with some other summer fruits..
