So, searched the site and seen the TV ads - but has anyone tried it yet then or been one of the guinea pigs on said ads? (Or was that marketing B.S.?)

Had it in few pubs. In some it tastes like regular lager in other got some citrusy hop notes.
Not sure what to think about it...

Well I was given a unmarked bottle of it to try.

I thought it was more like a light pale ale. Quite hoppy and fresh. I liked it.

I didn't think it was a lager.

I thought this might be a "training ale" to get Smithwicks drinkers into IPA territory.

It certainly wasn't ropey!
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

Had pint across the road from the RDS tbh I was presently surprised and quite liked it.
