Lads - I see the guy in Mayfield charges 60 Euro for a 5kg tank. Doesnt seem like this is great value compared to Ajedge - are there better options if you're based in Cork?

Thanks,

Cambrinus

As far as I have heard this is the place to go for CO2 in Cork. Most likely the place I'll go to.

There is another guy in Cork that can do CO2 refills, not sure about cylinders.
John O'Brien +353 85 108 9808
I've not used him, but he's worth a call.
Let us know how you get on.

I think that's the price for a tank, refills are 20

I refill in Munster CO2 ( Mayfield ) 6kg - 20 euro . Second hand full cylinder ( 6kg )with new valve around 60 euro. I think is not too bad

That's about what I paid way back.
They last ages, unless you have a leak

No point opening a new post for this, but is BOC the best way for getting nitrogen gas.

In short, yes.
There is a rental on the cylinder and the refill charge.
I'm not sure what the charges are, but if you find out please post here.

I'll get onto them tomorrow, my stout tap has been lying idle for ages waiting to be used.
