Looks pretty decent for this type of thing.Volume could have been upped a little bit though, as could the element wattage. It looks a little bit plasticky too, but I suppose it helps keep the price down

The plasticness of the thing doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. Looks like a gentle nudge and I'd have hot wort pouring out the side

Not dissimilar to the grainfather in terms of functionality- slightly smaller capacity and the PID is more limited.

The kettle itself in enamel (seemly you can get stainless steel too).  Its essentially the same type of urn as a Brewferm Pro. The plastic liner is only for mashing, and its thicker than many of the plastic bucket boilers - so I'm not sure what people are worried about.

I was looking at one a while back.  In the end I got a cheap Lidl urn and built a clone.
