Fancy a free Pint?

Wetherspoons Old Boro has asked me to ask us all do we fancy popping into the Boro next Monday (21st) before 8 o'clock.

Reason is that Wetherspoons house magazine are comming over to do a photo shoot of the Boro's Monday Night Quizz. They have also heard of the NC Brewers meetings. So they would like to get us in as well. The magazine is distributed to all spoons pubs. Nice way to get a bit more coverage for the best group in the NHC!

They have offered us a free pint for our troubles!

I was told that the photos will be at about 8.

As this is Ireland it may be a bit after, but there again Spoons are English, so I would suggest we meet up at about 7:30 or 7:45 or so.

Also Monday is quizz night in the Boro so we are invited to enter!

How did it go tonight?

Well there were 6 of us, the Brains SA was on as managers special (€1-95 a pint)

Photographer was a bit late but she eventually took loads of photos with our free pints.

She thought Mark was the pretty one and loads of close ups of him. All in all a good night. Must wait till the mag is published before sharing the photos (that she has said she will send)

Mucho publicity for the HCB and the NHC out of this hopefully!

Suppose now I am going to have pop in weekly to see if the new mag is in!
