I have a 50L keg with a U system keg valve (bought the keg for fiver from a scrap yard). My problem is that the valve is faulty as it leaks gas pressure. Is there a way of replaceing the valve (can they be bought). Its water tight, but any pressure leaks out the valve.

Any recommendations?

And that's why it was a fiver
What do you intend doing with it? Cornys much more user friendly for Homebrewers

im intending to use it to store beer, uncarbonated and ill carbonate in Corney.

Just remove the cap and spear and use a rubber bung and bubbler or a condom to measure actlivity

Sorry meant to say a pin prick in the condom will be enough to allow it to vent but not compromise the co2 space.
Just remember to use it the for that purpose only

Remindsme of a joke [see thread]!
