Just saw them pop up on twitter, they may want to change their Logo before they get a call from the states. But it's nice to see a brewery open in Limerick, is it the first one?

Bubbles

That's ridiculous.. It looks absolutely blatant!

Fairly blatant alright.

There's Treaty City Brewing and JJ's Craft Brewing already in Limerick, also the Locke Bar have their own 'Locke Stout' but I've no idea where that's brewed.

Trolling for some free press in the form of a cease-and-desist, I suspect...

Bubbles

It seems to be..

With a marketing approach like that, I wouldn't have very high hopes for the beer tbh. :(

Drum

Give them a chance lads, the logo is mostly green and white those are the limerick GAA colours aren't they? Could just be an oversight or a random logo template from a labelmaker website or something.
They're following Bren Murph on twitter so they have some idea where to start making good beer  ;)

Proof of the pudding lads! I mean GBB churned out a lot of pretty average stuff until they struck gold with Chris Treanor. After all Brooklyn Brewery don't own the font or the letter 'L'.

Chris

It does look bad, but I would agree with Drum id say it's a generic logo from a label maker, I hope they do well Limerick is still a bit of a craft beer wilderness
Primary: Back to Black Again (Michael Jackson stout)
Secondary:
Conditioning:  Breac Donn Imperial Amber Ale
Drinking: Cascade Reaction Amber Ale, Fear Gorm Irish stout, lonesome pilgrim pale ale
Planned: imperial stout, finlandia kit hack

The standard for logos, without getting into a bunch of legalese, is generally, "Would this confuse the consumer?"
