Bazza kindly donated his old 32l Stainless fermenter that was giving him more infections than the girls who do the rounds on the wee back streets near the dublin road cinema.

Its had a new lease of life and passed its cold water test.  Hot water test once I borrow a multi meter to check the element isn't gonna destroy me the instant i turn it on,  Base plate to come and potentially an additional earth depending on results and perhaps some fancy insulation.    So after a few to many busy weeks and weekends I finally broke out the step drill bits and dremel (for the element hole). House funds are tight so no buying anymore fancy tools right now and over a few nights arsed about and heres the results so far.

Barry those scratches turned out to be the impections from the welded seam.  Wet and dry paper to smooth them out and then blasted with the heat gun to hopefully nuke any nasties lurking.     Anyway here it is.   Pretty simple but i'm happy with it.  Thanks again Sir

Christ. She never looked that shiny when I had her!

Fair play, Ryan. You're very welcome, and here's to many future brews. Looks like your hard work is going to pay off.

Cheers,

- Barry
