Any walk-in places do quickdisconnect fittings ?

I'm finally wiring the new brewery up this weekend. It's been a busy, non-brewing summer. I've a feeling I'm short some bits & pieces that I won't be sure about, until I start actually running through a brew day.

Are there any places near Dublin that'll stock & allow walk-ins for hardware like http://www.angelhomebrew.co.uk/en/quick-disconnects/142-female-quick-disconnect-to-12-hose-barb.html or the silicone tubing ?

Thanks for that. D'oh. Another monday-friday 9-to-5 place on the southside :)

Oh, for northside folks, totalstainless.ie do all sorts of fittings & piping for folks looking for something a little more robust than normal. Good guys, no problem doing small quantities (though, if you want to upgrade to 1000l tanks, they have them too).

Just tell them you are a NHC homebrewer and know Will (me)(the big baldy Weslh git) and you will get a discount!

They are just not prepared to offer us an up front percentage and code.

Be warned tho'! They have a secret trick to part you from your wonga:

They bring you out into the storage racks to find what you want! In passing you also find lots of other stuff you didn't know you didn't need!
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

I got a fair amount of my stainless off them. Top quality stuff. The warehouse tour is worth a visit alone. Bring your credit card though.

I on-purpose didn't go in the back. Oh, and because I was pedalling to work that day, so didn't need extra weight. I'm sure I'll need to do something about a steam hood at some point...though I still have an 8'x4' sheet of 0.6mm aluminium which might do the job.

Anyone know where I could get steel tubing & a fan for cheap for such a thing ? I suspect totalstainless might have the tubing, if I could get an appropriate fan...
