Guinness keg fermenter

Has anyone converted a Guinness keg into a fermenter? A standard American keg can be converted using 2'' TC fittings (see below) but I'm having trouble finding something that will work on a Guinness keg. I'm hoping to have a thermowell in addition to an airlock. Any ideas would be appreciated.

People won't work on it because it belongs to Guinness.
You could just get the grinder out and use a bung like this guy:

You wont be able to use a TC fitting. The flange at the top of the spear connection is too thick to take the seal and fitting within the clamp.
There's no such thing as bad beer - some just taste better than others

If I want both a thermowell and an airlock drilling my own stopper might be the only option. A 10.5 stopper works. I just can't find a predrilled 2 hole version.

Get bung, get drill, combine.

Also, you'd probably get a warmer reception if you were to introduce yourself as CH so elegantly suggested.

Elegant me? Surely some mistake
