Hi

I have bought a BIAB redders red ale from the mottley brew. As this is my third  brew after messing up the second brew I am being cautious for the next brew.

I am brewing in my 30L grain father.  has any any one brewed this Ale ? If so anything to watch out for?

Haven't brewed it but reds are fairly straight forward, mash at 66 and there is usually one hop addition at 60 minutes.

What happened with your second brew? Messing up is all part of brewing.

Thanks If you look up coffee stout on this forum. Going brewing my Ale on Sat.

Yeah, saw it there.

Two weeks max in the fv at 19 degrees for this one.

If you are bottling transfer to a bottling bucket and batch prime and bottle straight away. Get some hose for transferring the beer between vessels. If you don't have a bottling wand I would purchase one.
Store the bottles at room temp in a place where the heat is fairly constant. I store mine in a Wardrobe in the spare bedroom ( don't tell my missus).  If the beer is too cold it won't carb.

Best of luck with it

Have you figured out what went wrong on the last brew?
