Beer Gun Question

So picked up a Chinese beer gun (great bunch a lads).

Wondering if anyone has one or even the Blichmann, what pipe did you get for the gas & beer line? What OD or ID line? I'm looking for the flexible PVC type.

Also - I'm planning on either using quick airtool disconnects to connect to my regulator or this method http://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=454129 ? Anyone any experience?
