Saw this on the beer tickers programme that Dempsey mentioned. Fantastic place with caves underneath!

Founded in 1189AD apparently.

Ireland's oldest pub is the Brazen Head, 9 years younger, whose website isn't currently working, and well, doesn't really look that old at all, and isn't a patch on the Jerusalem one.

Wow Sean Fitzsimons only died in 2011, he was a horse of a man, huge dude, I meet him a few years ago on the Shannon rally. Judging by his size then I'm very surprised that he made it to the age he did.

I found it to be a good pub and a great atmosphere, but then I was always in it with the Inland Waterways crowd.

He had the coolest boat on the Shannon also with "Ye Iron Lung".
I didn't know at the time that it was the oldest pub.
