Extract Kit In 14 Days Or Under ?

Possible or not to get an extract kit brew to glass in 14days or under ? Looking at maybe a wheat beer kit s an option atm,need something to fill in the gap between now and when my Christmas beers are ready.  ;D

It's certainly possible, and a wheat beer would be a great choice, as it's pretty much ready to drink once carbonated. Did you have any kit/kit hack in mind?

Reducing the DME/LME addition will help the beer ferment quicker, as will pitching more yeast, aerating fully, adding nutrient, and fermenting at the mid/high temp for the yeast. Not suited to a wheat beer - but using finings will help clear the beer quicker too.

The coopers recipe section of their site here has a few low alcohol options if you decide to try other styles in future - it will at least give you an idea of how much LME/DME to add to get the effect you're after. For other beer styles at lower alcohol, 50-100g of maltodextrin will help maintain body, although with a wheat you'll be fine.

If carbing in bottles use the hot press (I know, I'll get shot for saying that!), but the beer will carb within a few days, rather than weeks. Chill well before serving (use the freezer for an hour) and there shouldn't be a problem with gushing.

Some general pointers -

1 Alcohol level - Lower alcohol beers can get you from FV to glass quicker, try low alcohol styles, or reduce alcohol of your favourite style (session beers)
2 Style choice - English mild, ordinary bitter, wheat beer, simple pale ale are ready for drinking pretty much when carbed
3 Force carb - Reduced time to carb, cutting out the time required for bottle conditioning
4 Pitch plenty of yeast - Fermentation will begin and complete quicker for most styles, conditioning will also be improved
5 Yeast choice - Use a high flocculating yeast (e.g.: S-04) to clear the beer quickly, or a cloudy yeast (WB-06), where clearing isn't a concern.

Any wheat beer with wb06 or a Saison with t58 or m27. They both ferment fairly fast and warm. Get them in a keg after 10 days and serve at 1

Going to go with a Coopers Preachers Hefe and kilo of wheat dme ingredient pack off HBC.Just going to it straight up with no hack for this batch ;D Saisons i am not a huge fan of tbh,i haven't like many that i have tried so far.I may also throw on a yorkie bitter kit but at lower abv. ;D
