I have just moved to Dublin from Australia. I have been homebrewing since 2008 in Sydney. But unfortunately I haven't brought any brewing equipment... I used to have my "Nanobrewery" in the garage! I had 2 systems, Braumeister and mash tun + boiler (gas burner). I used to bottle and keg my beers. Is there any place where I can brew out from in Dublin? I look forward to the discussions in this forum. BTW, I am not far from Monkstown centre (what an appropriate name for me to live!😁) Cheers

Welcome Beer_chaser as your in Monkstown central your in South Dublin. The south Dublin brewers of which I am one meet once a month to sample/critique each others beers, usually involves a few additional beers bought from the Dark Horse pub where we meet. Tog -  https://www.tog.ie/ in the city centre used run brew days from their own premises once a month but it's a while since I heard them doing anything. I would suggest you contact one of the members here called Shiny as he is a member of that group also & he previously was trying to get a communal brewing space setup there. Your welcome to come along to the dark horse for our next meet, check the South Dublin section http://www.nationalhomebrewclub.ie/forum/south-dublin-brewers/ for next meeting date, probably last Thursday in January. By the way I am living in Blackrock so not far from you.

Hi Shanna, nice to e-meet you! Thank you for your message! It is very helpful! I might not be able to make the meeting in Jan, but I should.be able to come by in Feb! Jan is a busy month as I am still sorting a thousand things to settle here... But we should grab a beer at some time... I will let you know when things calm down on my end. Hopefully early Feb... Will hopefully see you in February. We are a small group but several of our members are pretty accomplished & it's usually good craic also. It's always good to have more people local if your stuck for malt, hops etc.
