I'm buying a Grainfather this weekend and I@m wondering, as there are newer models or versions, who do I
know that I'm getting the latest version/release?

TIA

There are not that many differences between the new model and the old model other than the control box.

You can tell them apart by looking at them. The old control box has physical switches where as the new control box has buttons.

There are a few other modifications as well but this is the main difference.

The minor differences are the filter, the old one is performated metal with one end open where the new filter has s silicon hose that connects over the pump inlet.

Like I said there is not a huge difference between the versions other than the control box.

Thanks guys, just ordered mine from geterbrewed today!

Wow geterbrewed is over 100 more expensive. Though I guess you get a "free" sparge heater.

The only other differences I can think of (other than the controller and filter) is the new stopper and the new chiller is neater.
