Thanks,

You can have a go at making one, roll of copper is about 30euro in B&Q.
Making the coil is easy, making the uprights that form the flow in/out is a bit trickier.... be slow and patient, it kinks (which can result in leaks) much easier than the youtube videos suggest...    So definitely use a pipe bender not just free bend with your hands as they do on some videos.
If you want to try it I have a bender somewhere you can use. I'm in Galway too, can bring it to meet up on Friday if you're around.   Only word of caution is if you think you won't manage it then it's probably cheaper to just buy one ready made.

Thanks for that.
I tried Higgins for the copper tubing and they didn't have it (although the guy did ring Lough Gill Brewing Company to see had he any to spare :-P). I'll swing into B and Q over the weekend.
Might bite the bullet buy one from HBW.
Hoping to make one of the meetings in the future, not sure about this Friday.
Thanks again.

Strange call to make?!... a hardware company ringing a brewery for copper... must know him personally?... maybe if you mentioned brewing he joined some dots?

Walsh's plumbing supplies Tuam road would be your best bet. Ring ahead but they may be cheaper than B and Q from what i remember.
