Hey All. I just moved back from Canada last week and trying to meet up with locals with the same brewing bug I've had for a year now 

I've made 2 IPAs and Stout so far. I'm working on a Cerveza now.

I'm aware Cervezas aren't the greatest beers around (or even close) but it's a favourite among my friends. Probably means I need new friends 

The IPAs went great but the stout didn't taste good at all. I might have put in too much hops into it  Also it looks like Beamish and Guinness get their head from nitrogen. I don't know how tricky that kind of setup is. I'm not kegging yet anyway. Trying to keep it as simple as possible.

Great to meet the community here. I think my local group is the North Country Brewers. Can't wait to meet them in person.

As luck would have the best club in the nation is North County. Meeting tomorrow in Fowler's in Malahide from around 7 or 8.

Our meets are in the Old Boro Swords on the 2nd Tuesday of a month and Fowler's on the 4th Tuesday

I won't be able to make the meeting tonight sadly but I'll definitely be at the next one. Glad to see so much activity in this area
