Looking some advice as I've decided to start kegging and opened an account with BOC who will supply homebrewers with gas.
These are their Suregas bottles designed for soda, drinks and beverages. My problem is that I ordered a dual gauge regulator specifically for co2 and it doesn't fit the bottle.
I'm wondering if there is a specific regulator for this or have I been sent the wrong type of regulator.

That Suregas bottle is pure CO2 and so has a male thread.

The regulator shown is a CO2 reg but unfortunately it may be American as they use a slightly different thread.

You need a European CO2 reg from one of our online homebrew shops

Mixed gas bottles like Suremix 50/50 and 75/25 have a female thread and are filled to a MUCH higher pressure. For these you need the appropriate mixed gas regulator

CO2 botles are filled to 50 bar, mixed gas is 220 bar (1 bar is 14 psi)
