Recommendation for seller of Hard plastic Beer bottle cases

Hi there,

Anybody able to recommend a reputable supplier of hard plastic beer bottle cases. Just bottled this evening and the cardboard boxes I have been using are not up to holding 20+ glass bottles.

I've found local friendly bar men to be quiet accomadating - if you grease their  palms with a few bottles of your finest batch !

Perfect excuse to go to my local tomorrow although last time I asked them for something (ice for a party) they looked at me as if I was asking for their first born. However if first you don't succeed.

I was looking for the larger size of 500ml+ that will take the swing top bottles. If I have no luck I will come back to you.

Crates? 330ml crates are usually not well loved and don't go anywhere further than a skip, so ask in your local. (I was offered around 30 last year, but declined, so they were skipped)

500-568ml a bit trickier. Again, the local is the place but these frequently go back.

If you really really get stuck let me know.

No idea about plastic crates, but while you source them pop into Lidl and take a bunch of their vegetable cardboard boxes.
I've been using them for ages and they easily stand up to the abuse of 35 X 500ml glass bottles

The problem I have is that my shed where I store the beer is incredibly damp ànd so cardboard tends to absorb the water from the air.  I will however check the boxes out maybe they are painted and will last longer. Thanks for the tip.

They work out quite well, hold 30/35 500ml bottles. I had planned on making some dividers for them but too lazy so far and I dont think they really need them anyway.

This is what I use too.  The next size up is a bit better as it is a little low for swing top bottles so the lid doesnt close properly
