Rats

Drink these if I was short on money and the amstel lager(more expensive) if I had little money spared.
I'm a big "white spirit"(vodka,gin,cane) drinker :P
I drive way to fast to worry about cholesterol

I had the benefit of living near Derry so could go to Wetherspoons and get dirt cheap pints of real ale when I was young. There were times when they were £1.29 (about 5 years ago). Made for a very cheap night out.

I never liked lager and I worked part time so I could afford to get drunk without needing to load up on cheap tins before heading out. Normally my carryout would be a few bottles of Whitewater. Then when I was 18 I worked in a bar that sold Peroni and Warstiener. I'd never liked lager before but when I eventually started getting into it I couldn't start drinking things like Fosters or Carlsberg.

Would sometimes buy a litre bottle of Bulmers to start off and then drink a few cans of Druids after that. In the pub, if they didn't have decent beer, I'd have drunk muck like Smithwicks or Guinness.

Once I developed a proper taste I started buying the cheap O'Hara's from Aldi. Haven't looked back since.  ;D

Snuff

On the grape side it was Buckfast or Thunderbird.

On the grain side it was Tartan Special, McEwans Export or Tennants Special.

I spent a lot of time in Germany in my early twenties so luckily the stuff we drank was quite high brow comparatively, it was cheap too relative to here.

The whacky one we used drink was called Friesengeist, it was a 65% spirit that we used to light.

They even sold the kit with a little brass pan to put the fire out.

Man that stuff was crazy and lead to many many stupid things being done.
