I stumbled across this thread on HBT, which shows how to take a garden sprayer and turn it into a beer tap cleaner. About 20 quid for everything.

I've been using a "spare" corney keg for cleaning duty but I never really seem to have a spare; I'm building this as soon as possible!

Fixed hopefully (thanks Dempsey!)

I bought a cheap submersible pump for a few euro (like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/50GPH-Submersible-Pump-Aquarium-Pond-Powerhead-Fountain-Water-Fall-Hydroponic-/141089973566 and a length of pvc tube.

Make a bucket of cleaning fluid up.
Submerse pump in it.
Attach pvc hose to spout of faucet.
Open disconned and place in the bucket.
Open tap and plug in.

I let it recirculate for 20minutes. Works well.
