Beko Glacier fridge + Tap Tower?

Hi

I've picked up a Beko undercounter fridge and have started converted it to a kegerator....

With the shelves out and the shelf supports from the side walls cut out, it fits two kegs with a space over the back ledge for the CO2.

I'm looking at tap options at the moment and considering maybe putting a tap tower on it. Has anyone here tried drilling through the roof of one of these Beko fridges? I'm afraid of hitting a line of refrigerant and killing the fridge. What's the likelihood of the roof being only insulation?

Also - has anyone tried one of these tap towers? Seems like a good price;

Alternatively looking at Perlick 575SS taps for the door, but since it's a low down fridge a tower might be nice.

Thanks for advice!

I have a hotpoint under counter with 3 tap beer tower , takes two 19land a 10 l one . On mine the lines are all on a wall on the inside of  the back of the fridge. That doesn't look like that in your pic . I've seen there is a way of tracing where the lines are using baking powder or something you may need to take the top plastic cover off  to get a better indication

Pierce the skin with your drill and with a nail wiggle around to make sure no pipe work worked for 2 on me, be gentle with the drill tho!

Carefully cut through a small section of the roof with a  Stanley blade where a tower would be centered. Peeled back the plastic and gouged out the insulation up to the outer roof of the fridge.

... looks like I'm safe for drilling a clean hole and putting a tower on so!  ;D

How wide is that fridge? Is it 55cm? I have a 55cm Beko and getting 3 kegs into it is a bitch.

It's actually very small, only 45.5cm internal width. After removing the control dial, slicing off the shelf supports and cutting out some of the door it will hold two of the kegs from the recent group buy. There's space over the ledge at the back for regulator and beer/gas line - going to put a more stable shelf back there.

Also, the glass shelf and some of the innards are worth money, believe it or not!

Interesting! I might try them on adverts.ie before throwing out.
