Vac Pack bags

Remember Lidl or aldi had the vac packers on a few months ago? well i got one and now im out. I know a few others got them at the time so what are people using for bags? Im sure sandwich bags will do the job but i dont really want to have to work my way through  3 or 4 different types before i find the one that works.

True vac bags have an embossed orthogonall pattern of fine groves so that all the air is sucked out!

As soon as a plain bag is pich sealed the then vac does not evacuate the rest of the tube> Think of a piece of soft rubber tubbing. Pinch the middle and suck - air pressure shuts down the tubing on one side of th epinch. T'other side still has air in it!

Just buy the proper vac bags or a roll of tubing from Amazon or elsewhere!
