Was this OK up to a point in time, then suddenly went bad?
What event (weather or otherwise) ties in with this?
Have you filters on the phone line?
What are the splitters you are using? Is it a Phone/DSL splitter or a simple line splitter?
I have seen water-logged eircom ducts, if the copper joints is not properly sheathed you could well have issues.

Eircom own the copper, but sometimes they don't necessarily know what the last Eircom guy did.
I had a line at one time that went all the way round the (big) block so was on a carrier as they had run out of pairs so I could not get DSL.
I peered into the hole with the eircom guys one day and asked 'Whats that cable?'. Turns out it was a new 50 pair bundle that was never used.
Thanks to this discovery the whole neighbourhood has super-fast broadband and great quality voice!

It has only gotten this bad since the beginning of December last however ever since the start of 2013 it has been unreliable at best with at least one announced complete drop every month. I do not have any splitters on the line, it is coming in from outside into a dual socket in the kitchen, one side of the dual socket is the phone and the other is the router, i assume this is what you mean by a phone/dsl splitter ? No filters on the line unless Eircom have any i don't know about.

If its a recent Eircom wall socket then there is swap out module in the socket that has splitter inbuilt.
Are there markings to indicate Phone and DSL on the individual sockets?

Are you wired or wireless to the router?

That's what i have, the router is on the left and the house phone on the right.

Sorry but i am not posting screenshot here of my connection as that would contain my IP address and other information i don't want made public :o

Have you a ucking light in the house?!
Actually, theres your problem, you didn't pay your ESB.  :o

Don't worry about your IP, reboot your router after you've nabbed the details and you'll refresh your IP.

Yep, got 'em.
Connection to router looks solid.
Connection to exchange (Attenuation 1/2) is superb per http://www.speedguide.net/faq_in_q.php?qid=371
Pings to ns1.eircom.net look good.
tracert looks ropey, but this might be to do with some vodafone routing.
What is the performance like at this point?
Maybe theres something funky going on in Vodaland.
