I did mention in a previous post I was thinking of "renovating" my little 6x4 shed to accommodate my new hobby and today I did just that!
I built shelves out of 2x1 rough and some O.S.B. to store my bottled brews.
I plan on using mainly 500ml bottles and found cardboard boxes in work which snugly fit 12 bottles.
Each section will fit 2 boxes of 12 bottles. I could put the bottles straight onto the shelf but in case somebody comes prowling during the nite I thought it best to "hide" them.

Good work, but you're gonna need more shelve than that

Only downside I see is a wooden floor. Lots of washing goes on and having a concrete floor with a drain is ideal for this.

Jaysis I've only got one FV and I live in an apartment  I'm happy with storage for 288 x 550ml bottles, especially at the rate I'll get through them . . . .

Its only storage for bottled beer . .  Everything else is done inside, while trying not to make too much of a mess

After going kegging i have'nt really bottled in ages, maybe four for the comp. But is looks good, you can convert them to bird houses when you go kegging
