Corny lids

Aright?

The lid of one of my cornies is being a bit of a bugger. Last time I used the keg, it lost all pressure, twice. In the end I had to stick 2 pennies under each foot of the lid to keep the thing properly sealed and all was good.

I don't really like having to resort to the above method so I was looking at maybe a replacement lid but they're stupid money.

I've noticed that one of the plastic feet of the lid is knackered, which probably doesn't help when  trying to seal the lid. Anyone know where I could buy replacement feet from somewhere that isn't Australia or US?

Another issue is that one of the feet splays out too much when you clamp the lid down. I considered adjusting the leg with pliers, but I don't want to weaken the metal. Any tips on how I could make the feet align better without having to resort to brute force?

Cheers,

-Barry

Could probably get a spare lid or two thrown into a corny group buy. No idea when the next one might be though.

Hi Matthew,

No; you returned mine in perfect condition. It's since been refilled with stout.

I'm just glad I didn't lend you the wonky one or you'd have been cursing me :)

Cheers,
