Hows it going.

Started brewing again recently. I did three batches this month - 2 of the Homebrewcompany's Extract kits (American and Discover American Pale ale), dry hopped with 1 oz each of Citra/ Amarillo and 1 oz each of Citra/ Amarillo/ Simcoe respectively.

Yesterday I did my first all grain brew - HBC Olga's Oregon Stout. It took 6 hours but is bubbling away now like crazy - the OG was 1064/1066- little bit higher than 1061 which is expected.
I still haven't tried any of my brews yet btw- first one should be ready on Friday.

Will keep an eye out for a Cork meet - or maybe drop into a Dublin one.

Thanks for reading. If you have experience of the brews I've done, or any recommendations - all would be of interest.

-D.

@mrhoppy - thanks will do.

@LordEoin - I tasted one of em at 8 in the morning when bottling - didnt go down well. Am a bit nervous of what they're like now tbh. The first will be 2 weeks in bottles on Friday.

@Johnrm - is that on every week?

Don't worry about your beer, it will be fine.
This is the first annual National Homebrew Day, that being said, there have been a few random open brew days.
