Sufficient for rolling boil??

My sister has given me this electric counter top cooker, would it b sufficient do ye reckon to hold a 60-90 min boil, I usually use my old mans gaf coz he has a solid fuel range but if thus would work I could work away at home, I have a 33 litre SS pot

The bigger elements are probably around 2 kW each and the smaller elements are about 1.5kW each, 2 kW will take a long while to get 33 lts to a rolling boil. There are calculators for this on line, The tape joint and 13amp plugtop are a big no no, this hob has the potential to use 6-7 kWs at full load if all the elements are used together, which would require a minimum 6 square cable connected to a cooker switch not a plugtop

I think the answer is no, 2kw induction hob is good enough for 23litres boil but takes ages to bring wort to boil.
You might be strugling with this one..
Anyway sort out the connection and try to boil 23 litres of water first to make sure you're not stuck on the brew day.

Cheers lads, I just put it up to see opinions and appreciated, il just stick to what I'm used to with the solid fuel range, it has served me well so far...will b going gas in the new year for the boil and possibly electric for mash water

You could do a partial boil (15 litres or so) and top it up after. Not ideal but might do the job
