WLP001 wanted

Howdy,

would any kind soul in Dublin (centre/northside) have a vial of WLP001 to give me? I'm looking to get a few starters going on my new stir plate for a couple of brews the week after next.

Willing to pay or swap a few kilos of crystal malt, I have loads as bought a 25kg sack a while back and haven't used it.

Interestingly, I'm also looking for some. I was gonna do some brews this weekend, so I don't mind doing a big starter, and dropping Johnny down a load of it. Also have some reasonably non-toxic previous brews to share, in exchange.

I'd offer, but the vial I have is Gen 4 and sitting in the fridge for about 6 months now, so I have a feeling it's not very viable at this stage.

Thanks for the offer but I got sorted. Ended up buying some Wyeast American Ale 1056 from Geterbrewed. HBC and HBW were all out but I had forgotten about GEB. Trying to get some starters going for a serious brewfest the week after next to get some entries in for the Nationals. Going for four beers in three days, looking forward to it, i think.
