I've been a long time lurker on the boards here - but have yet to see any mention of a club in Athlone? Is there one - or would anyone have any interest in starting one?

Hi Liam. You can also look here at the midlands section. It is slow but there have been a few people coming together slowly. I'm from Moate and have been trying to get things going. The Facebook page has others that are around the Tullamore area

I am very interested in getting a club up and running in Athlone.

I am just starting going down the all grain route and it would be handy to have a few people to bounce ideas off and brew with.

Hi Andrew,

The Facebook page is the place to be. A great little community of extremely helpful enthusiasts. The next meet is in January and I'd assume there'll be a decent amount of us leaving on the train from Athlone and possibly having a pint or two after the meet too...maybe in Maguires?

Athlone Beer club meets up once a month too, I think its more to meet for a few beers, but i'm sure thats where you will find some more Homebrewers in athlone.
The facebook group has a mix of everybody on it, you should join and midlands section here will be meeting again in January
