Hi lads,

Inspired by Rising Sons new Rya IPA I'm going to brew one this weekend. The grain bill will be 4 kg Pale malt, 1 kg Munich, 1 kg Rye, 400g Caramunich. I have the following hops in my freezer. Any suggestions on a hop bill using any or all of these?:

Simcoe Leaf, pellet
Amarillo, pellet
Nelson Sauvin, pellet
Ahtanum leaf, pellet
Chinook leaf pellet,
Columbus leaf, pellet
Bravo pellet,
Magnum leaf

Thanks in advance!

It was ok - maybe a bit too much going on. Just massive hop flavour - not exactly what i was looking for. Rye hasn't met my expectations tbh - did a clone of another famous  rye since and that didnt have the spicy bit I keep reading about and was expecting.

This was nothing like Rising Sons Survivor Rye IPA and I don't think the rye was what grabbed me about that - their replacement rye IPA is missing that loveliness. Think it might have been loads of munich or something - tried this with my last batch.

For what its worth this was the recipe:

I hadnt noticed  ;)

With IPAs I'd normally do a 3-4 oz dry hop, 2-3 hop stand and an ounce or two FWH.
