Hey,

Hoping to brew tomorrow with a recipe that requires both a flameout and whirlpool hop additions. My current setup is BIAB so any advice on change to hop schedule. Right not the hop schedule looks like:

7g Nugget @ 45m
7g Nugget @ 35m
7g Nugget @ 25m
7g Nugget @ 15m
7g Nugget @ 5m

28g Liberty @ Knockout

28g Liberty @ End of Whirlpool

I can replace the whirlpool addition with a 10 minute hop stand before chilling. But does essentially mean that I am adding 56g of Liberty in one go before chilling ? Or should I look to move up the Nugget hop schedule with maybe a late addition of 28g Liberty and then 28g Liberty with a 10 minute hop stand ?

Cheers

I'd do the hop stand and if you are doing it for 10 minutes throw 28g in at FO and then the other 28 g in after the wort has cooled to about 80C.

those boil additions look like they're designed 'because 10 minutes'
you might aswell do the 45 and 35 together for 60 and the 25 and 15 together for 20 and increase the 5min

Cheers that sounds like a plan. Then at least the second post boil addition get some time

Yeah but what about the post boil additions ? Move them up to the boil or add together at flameout ?
