priming sugars

Any thoughts on english style ales and to prime or not to prime??

i've been all grain brewing  for the last year and haven't primed at bottling- inconsistent carbonation levels but consistent flavours!!

my desired effect would be low level consistent carbonation... what priming sugar should i look to and how much??

Are you using a carbonation calculator? I use this one and have never had any real issues. Using malt extract would probably work nicely for English style ales too.

I use sucrose and use the byo priming calculator. How have you been priming CC? Inconsistent results are more likely related to how you combine the sugar and the beer than to the type of sugar or home much
