I'm using an old belfast sink but it's way too small. Was thinking of upgrading to an attic storage tank.

@Kevin - wooden sink? Ya serious?
There's no shortage of wood or tools where I'm working.

@Garry - I'd be worried about hot water in the tank causing a leak around the joint to an s or p trap that I would attach to turn it into a sink.

Yeah, they look great. I heard they were used in the 'big houses' for the staff washing fragile bone china and the like. I did a quick spot of googling there and it seems you can either use teak pretty much bare or else use any old shite wood and coat it with some sort of epoxy resin and/or fibreglass. I'm intrigued again. I need a sink for me workshop...

Was it a one off? Lookin for a sink myself, doesn't have to be massive but want a decent size for cleaning my gear.
