Is it possible to buy an alternative tap for burco boilers? Something so that it can connecting some hose to it or disconnects.
They have a slightly off shape so i assume its difficult to get non standard taps.

Can you not just use a standard half inch lever valve with a barb? This sort of thing

Na, the burco boiler (the model I have) doesnt have a circular hole.
They cut the screw part straight on either side, so that it wont move.
This makes it hard to replace.

I did some digging and found other forums recommending using a Tank Coupler.
So I will probably give that a go.

Hi Neoanto,
can you update the thread if you find a solution? I'm interested in this too.. I thought I would need to drill out the hole.
Cheers.

I'm hoping to try it out this weekend. I will let you know if it works!

Good news lads,

Using a 1/2 inch tank coupler and some washer this was succesful.
Just went into my local heating and plumbing supply store. Only cost a couple of quid.
