I'm writing a newsletter for HBW. Found myself using the "so" word, edited it out.

But now, I have to use it in the latter half of the news letter.

Is it just me? Or does anybody else get irritated that everybody on this planet seems to start each sentence with "so" when asked a question?

If it's general office speak we're on to there's a new one they use in our work that irritates the shite out of me. When asked for a rough guess of the size of a task: 'not looking anything definite at this stage; a t-shirt size will do for now'.

A mate of mine is a councillor in Connemara. He starts pretty much every sentence with "fuckin ah", same mid convo too. Pretty funny. Ive never asked him if he can turn it off when public speaking etc.

What about so at the end ? "ah it`s not too bad sooo " .
Round this part of tyrone and donegal we add but to the end of at least 30% of anything we say . and if we forget it ,then we just add it at the start next time round .
