So I sed this last Xmas as I ran out of bottles and I found it difficult to control.
Overall it was just ok.  But I couldn't really figure out how to get a decent pour out of it.

So my questions.

Anybody else used one & how did you find it?
Does it need the standard 4 weeks to mature/carbonate as you do with bottles?
Do you put the same amount of brewing sugar in as for bottles?
How much headroom do you need?

TIA

Hi

Yeah had 5 mini kegs but got rid of them as it was too easy to pour another glass😉. I found it hard to pour as well with a lot of wastage.

To get a decent pour i pierced the keg with the tap and let out all the pressure.  I then put in a little co2 and would pour until it started to tricke off, then gave it a little more co2.

Use half the sugar you would use to prime bottles.

You need about an inch head room.

I got rid of mine, as they were tricky to clean and took up a lot of room in the fridge. Also everything comes out with the same carb level which can be a pain.
